Let me rest the rest of my life

Here're the photos I used, all taken by me. The landscape image is from Finland, the others from UK.

Let's take a bath, baby! No matter if you don't have a body - it's brain that matter, isn't it.

I used my own photos, see them below. I made that "skull forest" image maybe a year ago, but I never finished it. The skulls are public domain. And I of course use Photoshop, a lot.

Or not so empty... I don't actually like this (below) creation. It's stupid and I can't find any spirit in it. Or maybe it's too "happy", oh help!

Reborn

Here's (below) the photo I used, I've taken it myself. I use very much mannequins in my art. Because I can't actually draw, I need some sort of model. Then I create for example a new face, eyes and/or mouth on top of it.

 Basically I kind of reborn it. Very often you are not able to recognize the original image after altering it. It's often impossible to show all the images I use in one piece of work, because I might also use some parts I've created before.

For example in this piece I've used eyes I have created before and now I just little change them again. There're like million ways you can reuse and manipulate the same parts. I work with Photoshop and of course use only my own images or images that are public domain.

Tears of the Lonely Lion

Luova Lauantai - Creative Saturday

The challenge this time is Chopin's Nocturne no.20. I love it and I really enjoyed creating this challenge image! I always listen to music while doing images and I found this song very inspiring.



Images I used: Background is a photo I've taken several years ago in Finland.

The lion is from my sheet called "The Spirits of Lions". You can purchase the sheet in my Etsy or my Elegia shop.

Left Outside Alone

I woke up, brushed my teeth. Then I make some coffee for myself and lit a candle. I put on my headset and started to listen to this. Repeat all over again when I create this piece.

I've made this background image some time ago, but haven't been using it before.

Here're the photos I used (I've got them from my sister).

I needed something to put into the image. I found the face I like. I just needed to borrow new hair for her.

Then I deeded a body. I chose this, 'cause I like brides. Then I erased the colours and changed her head and started to colour her again.

Then it was time to put the stuff together. My desk is usually quite clean. I can't work, if it's too messy. We have a nice gray day coming here today as you can see.

But the image is still somehow empty. Suddenly I remembered a song called Left outside alone. That's how I think the lady feels and started to listen to this.

I wanted the house be alive, so I switch on the light on the top floor. Then I put some sticks in the fireplace and the smog started to spread out of the chimney.

Moonlight would be also nice. And then it began snowing. It is really cold outside!
