Ode to England

I love you, England. No matter if it's raining like now.

We had sunshine yesterday.

Low tide in Thames. I must confess something: I didn't realize (before I moved here) the existence of tidal on the river of Thames.

I think I'm going to create a new blog. I have so much photos and thoughts about my new environment and I just can't keep them inside of me. I'll let you know when that happens!

It's nice to be here again! I've been busy with the moving thing etc. But now I'm in England and have found a home.

Goodbye Finland!

I',m moving to London next wednesday. I'm very excited.

Will I miss Finland... Time will let me know. I made a goodbye card of Finland. The building in the image is a well-known (well, at least it's well-known in Finland, lol) church in Helsinki which is Finland's capital.

I use an abandoned house I found about a month ago in this image. I also got in this house. it was very exciting and a bit scary - but I enjoy exploring the old houses!

Well, I'm not burning anything.

It's quite sure we (me and my husband) will move to England soon. My husband received an offer for a job in England. So if/when he (we) will accept it, we're going to move there.

Quite exciting, here we come England!

I must say it's so lovely to make images again! I haven't made any for a while, because I haven't got a Photoshop in my laptop. In fact, I don't have a laptop at all anymore.

I share this computer with my husband and this situation sucks. The problem is we have internet connection only in one computer. It means I can't do as much as I want to!

I would like to have another connection or we have soon a war here. :D

This series of "Fading Memories" includes four pics, here's only two of them (I haven't made the rest two yet, lol, but I hope I will).

The idea is make these with seasonal touch: The first is summer (Burning Memories) and the second is Autumn (Loosen Memories).

So yet I have to make spring and winter. I'll do them later, when I feel like. I think spring will be "Hopeful Memories" and winter will be "Forgotten Memories".

Artarazzi Challence 29 is this beautiful picture (below) of sunflower. It's like a painting and I wanted it to be (almost) that way. So I hung it to the wall.




This charming sunflower painting is made by Faye. I just have to admire her fantastic work! I can't draw even a straight line!

Abandoned

I love visiting abandoned houses. I have a quite large photo collection of empty houses.

This house doesn't exist anymore (it burned).


I also love cycling. I biked about 45 (27,9 miles) kilometers today.
